U drugom krugu prijevremenih izbora za načelnika Općine Murter-Kornati 1.936 birača danas biraju između kandidatkinje nezavisnih Mande Turčinov-Ježine i kandidata HSS-a Tonija Turčinova.
Tri murterska biračka mjesta otvorena su od sedam do 19 sati, a pobjednik će se znati već oko 21 sat, kad će Općinsko izborno povjerenstvo objaviti prve neslužbene rezultate. Profesorica hrvatskog jezika i književnosti, te magistrica knjižničarstva Mande Turčinov-Ježina u prvom krugu osvojila je 307 glasova ili 28.27 posto, a njen protukandidat, magistar inženjer agronomije Toni Turčinov 493 glasa ili 45.40 posto. U 11-članom Općinskom vijeću koalicija HSS-HNS ima pet vijećnika, nezavisni tri, HDZ dva, te koalicija SDP-HSU jednog.
